What 'Custom' Really Means for a Shower Enclosure
bespoke glasstailored layoutnon-standard shape
A custom glass shower door is one fabricated to the exact dimensions of your specific bathroom — not trimmed from a standard stock size.
In practice, bespoke glass means panels can be cut to any width, height, or angle: alcove bathrooms, L-shaped wet rooms, sloped ceilings, and non-rectangular floor plans all qualify as standard work for our fabrication team, not special requests. Custom glass showers differ from retail enclosures primarily because the tailored layout accounts for your walls, your drainage point, and your door-swing clearance. Every tempered glass panel we produce is made for that one bathroom and no other. A non-standard shape — say, a trapezoidal corner shower — is priced and cut the same way as a rectangle; the measurement visit is what makes it accurate.

How Much Does a Custom Enclosure Cost in Dubai?
glass tinthardware finishpanel count
Pricing for custom shower enclosures in Dubai starts around AED 2,500 for a basic single-panel or sliding configuration and rises to AED 8,000–20,000 or more for large frameless walk-ins with premium hardware and specialty glass.
The three biggest cost drivers are panel count, glass tint, and hardware finish. Clear 8 mm or 10 mm tempered glass is the baseline; a grey or bronze tint adds roughly AED 400–900 per panel. A custom shower glass enclosure in a complex shape — angled walls, curved frames, or a multi-panel layout — carries higher cutting and fabrication labour. Dubai's DEWA water supply carries 500–700 mg/L of dissolved solids, so we recommend a hydrophobic nano-coating at installation, adding approximately AED 300–700 but significantly slowing mineral deposit buildup. An accurate figure always requires an on-site quote.

Finish Options: Black, Brushed and Bespoke Screens

A black shower enclosure is one of our most-requested configurations in Dubai right now, and matte black as well as satin black powder-coated aluminium profiles are available as standard options across our bespoke shower screens range.
Black hardware — hinges, handles, channels, and wall fixings — can be paired with clear, smoked, or tinted glass for a high-contrast result. Brushed finish in chrome, brushed nickel, or brushed gold gives a warmer, more textured look that reads well against marble-effect tiles common in Dubai villas. Because ambient humidity regularly exceeds 90 percent during summer nights, every custom screen we specify uses either stainless-grade fixings or high-quality powder-coated aluminium rated for repeated condensation cycles — not basic mild steel, which discolours within one wet season. Samples are available before you commit to a finish.

Custom Doors Made to Order
custom doormade-to-orderhinge style
A custom door is the centrepiece of any bespoke enclosure, and made-to-order means the dimensions, swing direction, and hinge style are all decided by your bathroom — not by what a catalogue stocks.
We produce custom made shower doors in pivot, frameless swing, sliding, and bi-fold configurations. Hinge style has a practical impact beyond aesthetics: a heavy-duty wall-to-glass pivot hinge suits wider panels over 900 mm, while a glass-to-glass hinge suits narrow inline doors in tight alcoves. All door glass is 10 mm toughened safety glass as standard, which meets the load requirements for pivot configurations. For custom shower doors in Dubai, the handle height, towel-bar position, and seal type are all confirmed during the survey, not assumed from a size chart.

From Design to Fit: How the Process Works
site surveyfabricationinstallation crew
The process begins with a site survey, typically scheduled within 2–3 business days of your enquiry, where a technician records every dimension and photographs the space.
Those measurements drive the fabrication drawings, which you review and sign off before anything is cut. Fabrication — including glass tempering, edge polishing, drilling, and hardware assembly — takes 7–14 working days for most configurations; specialty tints or imported hardware finishes can extend this to 3–4 weeks. Once materials are ready, the installation crew completes a standard single-enclosure fit in one day, usually 4–8 hours on site. The crew checks every seal, hinge torque, and door alignment before leaving, and applies any specified nano-coating as the final step.
