What Does 'Bathroom Cabin Glass' Actually Mean?
Bathroom cabin glass is a fully enclosed shower unit in which toughened glass panels form every wall of the shower space, replacing tiled surrounds or fabric curtains with a self-contained glazed structure.
Each cabin wall carries water load and steam pressure, so the panels are not decorative — they are structural. A glass door, either hinged or sliding, completes the enclosure on the open face. The frame profile — whether aluminium, chrome-finished steel, or a near-invisible minimal edge — holds the panels in alignment and transfers load to the fixing points. Cabins start at around 800 × 800 mm for compact bathrooms and can be fabricated to any custom dimension, with a typical lead time of five to ten working days for non-standard sizes.
