What Does a Shower Separator Do?
A shower separator is a fixed or hinged glass panel that creates a physical barrier between the wet zone and the rest of the bathroom floor, stopping water from spreading across tiles after every use.
Unlike a full enclosure, it leaves part of the room open — so the space feels larger while the dry zone stays genuinely dry. The glass divider typically spans 80–120 cm wide and sits flush against a side wall or floor channel, channelling spray back toward the existing drain. Because Dubai's DEWA supply carries 500–700 mg/L of dissolved solids, we apply a hydrophobic nano-coating to every panel at installation to prevent mineral etching on the glass surface before it has a chance to take hold.
